Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, this obituary of Francis (Frank) Merrill Staley will be unconventional and therefore fit him to a tee. Frank was born on the family farm July 6, 1924 and died at home due to complications of a stroke and the finalization of a long and happy life on New Year’s Day 2021. He was almost 96 and a half years old.
Frank is survived by his loving and caring wife of 66 years, Mary; his children: Julie Staley (Rudy Salinas), Robert Staley, Michael Staley, James Staley (Terry), and Susan Staley Crawford (Mike Crawford); five grandchildren: Scott Sherrod, Laura and Sam Staley, and Karla and Kyle Staley plus two great-grandchildren: Gavin and Calliope.
The Staley family wishes that all our friends and relatives enjoy a long and prosperous life like Frank did which is why we have chosen to limit the viewing to immediate family and postpone the mass until July 6th, 2021 (which would have been his 97th birthday).
