WENNING, Frances (Meyer), age 96, of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016. Mrs. Wenning was a woman of extraordinary strength and determination. She was dedicated to her family and devoted herself to the care of her oldest daughter for over 40 years after her daughter suffered a stroke at a young age. Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Henry; her son Jeffrey; her daughter-in-law, Linda (John); her parents; and seven siblings. She is survived by son John Wenning and daughter Jane Wenning, both of Dayton, Ohio; daughter Jan Connair and her husband Dennis, of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight grandchildren (Rachel Wenning; Ian Wenning; Josie Wenning and her husband, Liher Abou-Ghalioum; Ryan Connair and his wife, Amanda Scott; Sean Connair and his wife Anna; Allie Connair; Molly Connair; and Daniel Connair), one great-grandchild, two loving sisters (Rita Buschur and Joann Bensman), and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends, from 5 to 7 pm, Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Rahn Road, Dayton, Ohio 45420. Mass of Christian Burial 11 am, Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Avenue, Centerville, Ohio 45459. Burial will take place at St. Louis Cemetery in North Star, Ohio.
