Ernest D Pearson

Pearson, Ernest D., age 97 of Kettering, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at Oak Creek Terrace Nursing Home. His wife, Dorothy Pearson, preceded him in death in 2012, following 66 years of marriage. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Mike Tooley of Centerville, and three grandchildren: Heather Tooley, Megan (Steve) Procuniar, and Christopher (Emily) Tooley; 7 great-grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. Ernest served in the US Army Air Corps for 3 years during World War II. He retired from Sheffield Corporation following a 32 year career as a toolmaker. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Wednesday, January 23 from 10 AM until 11 AM. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home; interment will follow in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
