Edith A. Lewis

LEWIS, Edith Ann, age 90, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 14, 1923. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Tom” Lewis; son Ronald “Ronnie” Lewis; sisters Irma Sharitt, Florence Steinke and Doris (Robert) Joyce; and brother Bud (Ruth) Tirey. She is survived by her son Byron Lee (Shirlee) Lewis; grandson Cody Thomas Lewis; step-grandsons Brett Northcutt and Zachary Northcutt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Edith retired from Hooven Dayton Printing Company, was a member of Riverdale U.C.C., a member of Faith U.C.C. and a volunteer for the American Red Cross at the Dayton VA Hospital. Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave. Friends may call from 1pm until the time of service. Private burial will take place at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
