POFFENBERGER, Dorothy Belle, passed away peacefully on Dec. 4, 2017 in Torrance, CA. She was born May 5, 1911 in Benton TWP., Pike Co., Ohio to Mary H. Leaver and Thomas H. Flint. She married Al Poffenberger on April 26, 1929. They were married 58 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie Darlene and Thomas W. Schmidt, two granddaughters Diane E. Seiler and Dorothy E. Schmidt, two great grandsons David and Thomas Seiler, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held December 16, 2017, at Tobias Funeral Home, 648 Watervliet Ave. at 10 AM, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton, OH.
