THOMAS, Dorothea E., age 92, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 in Dayton, Ohio. Dorothea was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert A. Thomas; infant daughter, Janet Thomas; parents: James and Edith Kirk; sisters: Agnes Cash and Clarice Dingey; brother, David Kirk. She is survived by her children: Pam Gebhart (Mark), Don (Carol) Thomas, and Jim Thomas; grandchildren: Shawnn (Kendra) Thomas, Tammy (Luke) Hunter, Emily (Sam) Clum, Todd (Miranda) Noble, Katie (Jeff) Hamilton, Tony (Garth) Johnson, Christopher Gebhart, and Michele (Damien) Hembree; great-grandchildren: Colton, Gaven, Alexandra, Jacob, Ashton, Melina, Abby, Sam, Kayla, Will, Mary, Ian and Chace; and her dear friend, Paul Allison. Dorothea will be sincerely missed by all who knew her. Memorial Service will take place at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave at Fauver, on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10:00am with Pastor Thomas Miller officiating. Family and friends may call on the funeral home Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Burial will take place following the services on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 4:00pm at the Greenmont Quaker Cemetery in the care of Bond Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothea’s name to South Park United Methodist Church, 140 Stonemill Rd. Dayton, Ohio 43201.
