Dorothea "Dolly" Kidd

KIDD, Dorothea “Dolly” age 77 of Xenia lost her twenty-eight year battle with cancer and went to be with her heavenly Father on Monday May 15, 2017. Dolly was an assistant gift shop manager for Blue Jacket, the Aquatic Director for the Xenia YMCA and was a substitute teacher for the Xenia City Schools She was a graduate from Cedarville College. Dolly was a member of Gem City Sweet Adelines and Bella Acapella; she was an active member of Cornerstone Bible Church (formerly First Reformed). She was preceded in death by her parents, John Fred and LuVerne E. Jesse of Elyra, Ohio; and a son, Christopher R. Kidd. Dolly is survived by her husband, Robert T. Kidd; children, Kathy Jo (Bill) Mannone of Rohnert Park, California, and Pamela Sue (Kidd) Helton of Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Marcus, Kirstin; four great-grandchildren, Audry, Shyanne, Brandon, and Benson; brothers, J. Fred (Judy) Jesse of Ringgold, GA, and Thomas E. (Carolyn) Jesse of Grand Rapids, MI; as well as many nephews and nieces. A visitation will be held on Monday May 22, 2017 from 5-8PM at Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday May 23, 2017 at 11AM at Cornerstone Bible Church, 152 North Detroit St., Xenia, Ohio 45385.
