Donald Bruce Spencer

Spencer, Donald B., 88, of Dayton, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at Brookdale of Fox Run. He is preceded in death by his wife Norma Jeanne Spencer. Survived by his children Michael (Darlene) Spencer, David (Cathi) Spencer, James Spencer, Jerry (Terri) Spencer, Roger (Kristina) Spencer; brother Robert (Loretta) Spencer; sister-in-law Sue (George) Raabe; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War, retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. A member of Community United Methodist Church; the Boy Scouts of America, Miami Valley Council, the Dayton Engineers Club and a member and past president of the Shooting Stars Square Dance Club. Family will receive friends from 11 AM – 1 PM Monday, February 20, 2017 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Fritz Merkes officiating. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens.
