Colonel Donald Richard Ohlemacher, United States Air Force Officer and beloved husband and father, passed away 1 August 2020 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Don was born and raised in the Sandusky, OH area. Following his graduation from Port Clinton High School, Don attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Don received his commission as an Air Force Officer in 1994 and served his country faithfully for 26 years.
Don is survived by his wife Kristie, his daughters Ashley and Kendall, his mother Marilyn, his sister Christine, his brother Greg, and many more beloved family members.
A non-denominational memorial service with full military honors will be held at First Baptist of Kettering on Thursday, 13 August 2020. Visiting hours will be from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. The service will commence at 6:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a blood or monetary donation to the American Red Cross. This organization was vital to Don’s battle.
