Donald Owen Moore Sr.

MOORE, Donald Owen Sr., age 96 of Beavercreek, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Eva Lavonne Moore. He is survived by his wife of 19 years Donna Moore, sons Donald Owen Moore Jr. and Daniel Moore, daughter Constance (Stephen) Edwards, step-daughters Sharon (Roger) Griffin, Kathy (Jim) Vance and Deborah (Scott) DeGroft , grandchildren Stephanie (Bryce) Combs, Donald Owen (Holly) Moore III, Stephen (Ella) Edwards, Carly Moore and Daniel Edwards, and great-grandchildren Makenna, Megan, Rowan, Emma, Owen, Cameron, Shelby, Vera and Nickie. Donald served in the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of IGA in Beavercreek and Xenia, and H & M Hydroponics. He was also a cattle farmer and real-estate investor. Donald was a very generous and giving man who was never afraid to go after an opportunity. Funeral services will be held at Hawker United Church of Christ at 10 am on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Hawker United Church of Christ, 1617 N. Longview Street, Beavercreek with Pastor David Williamson officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery.
