David (Dave) Brown, 52, of Huber Heights, passed away suddenly on March 10th, 2021. He was a beloved husband of 24 years to Jennie, and a devoted father to Ryan. David was born January 3rd, 1969 in Redondo Beach, California and passed away at Hospice of Dayton from a cancer diagnosis. He was preceeded in death by his parents Paul and Jonni Brown of Wheelersburg, Ohio. And survived by his siblings; Jesse (Cathe) Brown, Diana (Larry) Lindsey, Peggy Vohs, and Jim Brown. Also many nephews and nieces, Keith (Erica) Brown, Jesse (Kim) Brown, Shianne Brown, Paul Brown, Stephanie Brown.
David attended Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio, where he met his wife, and he worked for 24 years at Heapy Engineering as an electrical designer. He was certified in CAD and also certified in home construction and remodeling.
He had a love for woodworking, old and new cars and was an active member of MVMC (Miami Valley Mopar club). He enjoyed many rides on his Harley and to just take long drives in the car to enjoy the backroads. In recent years, David and his son Ryan shared the hobby of collecting hot wheel cars. They were always in search of them to add to their collection. During his life, he was most proud of his son Ryan. He loved to tell people about Ryan's accomplishments and what they were working on together.
David found his way to Christ while attending church at First Baptist Church of West Carrollton. Where he was on the maintenance team for several years as well as head usher. He enjoyed being able to give back to the church during his time of service.
David will be greatly missed by many, but most of all by his family. He was the love of my life, our protector and our rock.
A memorial service will be scheduled in the upcoming weeks.
