Dale Owen Guntle

Dale Owen Guntle, 82, of Centerville, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 4, 2019. He was one of 15 children. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane. They were married for 55 years. Dale is also survived by his son Douglas and his daughter Susan. Susan and her husband Brian gave Dale his 3 wonderful grandchildren, whom he adored and is survived by: Ryan, Zachary, and Olivia Fenner. Dale served in the Army and received a medal for Good Conduct. He worked for many years as a pressman at McCall’s Printing Press. When they closed he worked as a custodian for several churches and then Centerville City Schools. He retired from the school system. Please join the family to honor Dale and his service to family and country at 11 am Friday, February 8, 2019, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS C HAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road Dayton, Ohio 45429. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 -11:00 am. Following the service, burial will at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, with full military honors. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Ohio Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton Ohio 45420.
