Connie Hutzelman, age 73 of Centerville, passed away April 14, 2024. She was born February 28, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Harry V. Hutzelman and Anna G.(DeWinter)Hutzelman. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jayne (Hutzelman) Klein in 2021. She is survived by her loving sister, Carol (Hutzelman) Louden (Jack) of Centerville, Jim (Elizabeth) of Kailua Kona, Hawaii and Doug (Tina) of Centerville, two nephews, Alec and Ian of Centerville, niece Mary Anna Klein of Kettering, great-nephew Jason Buchanan, aunt Virginia of Corinth, Mississippi and many cousins and friends. She was a 1969 graduate of Fairmont East High School. Graduated from the University of Dayton in 1973 with a BS in Education. Went on to work for Sears, then Synchrony where she retired from in 2014. She was a proud volunteer at Kettering Health with many volunteer hours. She was a member of Centerville Curves. Also a faithful UD fan. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church and a member of the Women's Guild. She loved to do needlecraft especially plastic canvas pins and tissue box covers for friends and volunteers alike. She was also an avid reader. Family to receive friends 5:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Beavercreek Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr. Kettering, Ohio. Entombment will follow at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
