Clarence was born October 8, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio to Clarence and Agnes Brown. He graduated from Chaminade High School in 1953 and married his lovely wife of 68 years, Marilyn, that same year on September 12. They raised four sons--Robert, William, Thomas, and Timothy--and two daughters--Sheryll and Karen.
His passion for keeping himself busy was only surpassed by his love to help his fellow man with any projects they had to build or repair. some of the more important accomplishments of his life, not withstanding his greatest feat raising six successful children, were the design and construction of his own two homes, providing help in building two more, as well as playing a major role in numerous remodeling jobs for others. His job as an electrician, at NCR (18years) and Delco (25years), gave him great insight on the mechanical and electrical aspects of machinery and he could repair almost anything. His life-long love of cars inspired him to buy and repair older vehicles for himself and others to enjoy. His biggest weakness was his tendency to help his fellow man before thinking of himself.
He was preceded in death by his father Clarence and mother Agnes, and daughter-in-law Karen, wife of William. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, children Robert and wife Karen, William, Thomas, Sheryll and husband Daniel, Karen and Timothy; grandchildren Nicole, Michael, Emily, Sarah, Ryan, Chelsea, Jessica, Erica, Rhiana, Josh, Jackie, Ben, Delaney, and Marissa; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters Hermina and Teresa, brother Gerald, and special friends of the family Jill and Rhonda.
