Christine Laura Hinds

Christine was a member of Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, currently known as Be Hope Church. She faithfully supported her husband with her bookkeeping and billing skills. Christine enjoyed several hobbies including quilting, crafts, reading and crocheting. She was an excellent cook and well known for making pot luck cheesecake that everyone loved and appreciated.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hinds; sons, Larry W. Hinds and David Hinds; mother, Laura Southern.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Hinds-Shinabarger) Chovancek; son-in-law, Larry A. Chovancek; grandson, Lt. Colonel Andrew Chovancek wife Hannah; granddaughters, Natalie Chovancek Ebnet, husband, Sam Ebnet; and granddaughters Christa Hinds; Bianca Flores Brazel and family (both Larry’s Daughters); great-granddaughters, Isabella Chovancek, Brylee; great-grandsons, Isaac and Weston Ebnet, Grayson, Brandon, Trenton, Tristan, Mason, and T.J.; dear nieces, Bonnie Wiles and Phyllis Amburgey; nephew, Art Buck and other cherished family members.

The family will receive friends Saturday March16th at 10am at Tobias (Dignity) Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11am with Rev. Larry Chovancek, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery directly after service. In lieu of flowers please donate to Christine Hinds Memorial Fund, and Nazarene Compassionate Ministries.
