It is hard to believe that Chuck or "Chuckie" as we called him, has been gone for 5 years today. It seems just like yesterday we were working to cleanout Moms house after her death in November 2018. 
Chuck was loved by so many friends, family, and colleagues. May he rest in peace. We will always hold a piece of him in our hearts.

I can’t believe it’s been two years since you left. I still see the smiles, and remember the compassion and grace that you always had for us.  I miss the beautiful art and flowers you were so quick to share. I miss you my friend. 

Like everyone,  I was shocked to hear of Chuck's passing just eight months after his mother's.   So sad he did not get to enjoy any of his retirement.   Best wishes to Tim and his family during this time of loss

I send my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Chuck.  I had the privilege of working with him during his days in the ICU caring for Dr Laws patients. I saw him less frequently over the last few years but always stopped and had a conversation about the "good old days".  You will be missed by more people than you know.  God bless you!

I met Chuck through a mutual friend over 25 years ago. I always considered him one of my dearest friends. I will especially miss his laughter. Chuck always said "You're never fully dressed without a smile". He was right. Chuck, I miss you madly!



One of the first supervisors I worked with 24 years ago! Always love to run into him in the halls, with a smile on his face! He will be missed in a big way!

I’ve only know Chuck since 2015 but he was a mentor and friend.  I feel like I just saw you last week in the cafeteria. :’(  thanks for being a genuine friend. Miss ya !

I have known and worked with Chuck since 1974.  I always enjoyed talking with him about the good old days at Grandview.  He was a respected co worker and friend.  I know your in a better place, but I will miss you and our talks. 

Chuck was a fixture at GVH.  He held the position of Charge Nurse very high. Everyone knew him, respected him and appreciated his work. Having worked for GVH for 23 years, he influenced me & has left me with  many memories   He was so funny, it was always a pleasure when he came to my unit.  He did so much for Grandview, and I will always remember him as a great coworker & friend. 
 

I had the great pleasure of working with Chuck since 2003. He taught me how to be a supervisor at Grandview and we had many great talks.  His patients loved him.  I will miss him so much. Praying for your family

Chuck is the most wonderful, nurse I worked with at Grandview.  We shared alot laughs together.  You will be missed!

I have worked with Chuck for 24 years at GVH. He was a wonderful Nurse, friend and mentor. He never came on the unit in the last few years without giving me a Bear Hug...Chuck's heart was Pure Gold, his presence and soul Beautiful, and though I know he is in a Beautiful resting place with his Savior..I will Miss him Forever..♥

Chuck and I went to high school together-Trotwood-Madison Class of 1973.  He was a wonderful friend. I have so many memories. And as fate would have it, I ran into him again years later at Grandview Hospital when we were both nurses there....and he hadn’t changed at all. Rest high Chuck....you will be missed. 

Chuck was so nice! He was one of the friendly faces that everyone knew around Grandview Hospital. I first worked with him when he was a Nursing Supervisor while doing Bed Utilization. Often he would come by and  say “HI” and maybe stop to chat for a moment to make sure that things were running smoothly. When I was in Sinclair Nursing School he would give me advice on how to be an effective male nurse. He was very smart and you could talk to him about anything. In my opinion it’s a toss-up as to whether he Loved Grandview more or Grandview Loved him more. I will miss seeing his smiling face as I walk the hospital each day… 

So many wonderful memories in the twenty seven years we worked together. I learned to be a better leader from your sweet calm and compassion in the bad situations. He decorated for my wedding, thirty years ago, and brightened everything with beauty and laughter.  He watched after my husband through his many admissions and surgeries. Rest and Godspeed my dear friend.  

I worked with Chuck for over 35 years.  We shared a lot of life, laughter & tears over those years. I loved him dearly and will always hold his memory close to my heart. Be at peace my dear friend.

Chuck and I have been here at Grandview for so many years, that it was our usual talk of how much more time we have before we retire. Chuck you are in the best vacation/retirement of your life. You will be truly missed and keep on smiling. 

Chuck was one of my first charge nurses on CICU 34 years ago. His easygoing manner and infectious laugh were just a few of the things that I loved about him. He was so kind and my last memory of him was a sad one because it was a good-bye since I was moving out of state. I remember him telling me how sad he was and how much he would miss me.  His last few words to me (which I’ll chose to keep private) were in his usual witty form to keep the moment light. :-) RIP sweet man! You will be missed by many! ❤️

Chuck was an icon at Grandview! Everyone knew him. Everyone loved him. If you had a question about anything related to Grandview and patient care, Chuck knew it. Chuck said what he thought. I loved him for his honesty and sincerity. He had a good perspective on life. May he Rest In Peace.
