Charles Leroy "Chuck" Beatty

Beatty,Charles L. “ Chuck” Age 93 passed away Sept.6th from a long standing battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was born December 26th 1925 and was a life long resident of Dayton. Chuck was an Avid golfer and a lifetime UD Flyer Faithful. He as a graduate of Patterson Co-op High School And the Dale Carnegie school of public speaking. He served in United States Marine Corp during World War II and was retired from NCR after 37 years of dedicated service. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years “ Wilda” Parents Elvin and Gertrude Beatty, and brothers Doral and Luther. He is survived by his 3 sons: Bob of Centerville, Ed of Jacksonville Florida, and Jim and Danae of Springboro, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Chuck will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, “ King of the one liners” and Will always be admired for his acceptance of everything in life with dignity and never complaining about anything. There will be a brief Memorial service held at the chapel of Miami Valley Memory Gardens 1639 E. Lyle Five Points Rd.Centerville, Ohio from 10 -11 a.m. Saturday September 14th Special thanks to Dayton Hospice and to the staff of Atria assisted living for the wonderful care that he received.
