L.E. Catherine Ramey (Brewer, Ortman), age 87, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ramey; son, Michael Lee Brewer; and her parents, William Stephen and Lillian Swango. Catherine left behind 6 daughters: Millie (Brewer) Cook, Phyllis (Brewer) Harrison, Brenda (Brewer) Phillips, Teresa (Brewer) Moore, Susan Ortman, and Mary Katherine (Ortman) Curtis. She also left behind 16 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. She will be missed by numerous friends like Michael Moler Jr. that made up her life. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 10am until 11am at Tobias Funeral Home- Belmont. A funeral service will be held at 11am at the funeral home. Catherine's final resting place will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
