Peeling, Carolyn Sue, age 76, of Beavercreek passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, September 21, 2020. She was born in Dayton, OH on December 14, 1943 to Virgil and Mary Helen (Bertch) Morris, who preceded her in death. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John R. Peeling; her two daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Larry Filbrun, Pam and Matt Jones; a brother and sister-in-law, Virgil Lee and Jane Morris; five grandchildren, Jenny (Derrek) Shannon, Alecia Brightman, Paul (Courtney) Filbrun, Kara Jones, Emma Jones; three great- grandchildren, Owen and Zoe Shannon, Ava Filbrun. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2020, at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Carolyn's final resting place will be in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to either S.I.C.S.A. or Tenth Life of Beavercreek in memory of Carolyn.
