Miller, Carl Edward "Pudgie", age 74, of Beavercreek passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his family. Carl was born in Dayton on May 31, 1947, the son of the late Howard and Alda (Southard) Miller. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Miller. Carl is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Judith (Ewing) Miller, of Beavercreek; his loving daughter, Michelle Miller, of Dayton and his sister, Sandra Stowell of California. He was a member and Past Master of Beaver Valley Lodge #753 F.& A.M., the Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton, Xenia Chapter #36 R.A.M., Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #73 and Eagles Aeries #321 and most recently #1689 in Xenia. Carl retired from Inland Manufacturing (Home Avenue) after 25+ years of dedicated service and enjoyed retirement by spending time at his summer home at Brookville Lake Resort. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021, followed by a Masonic Service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The Hospice of Dayton in appreciation of their love and care of Carl or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
