LANICH, Brad Riegel Sr., age 57 of Sugarcreek Twp, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferrol and Marcille Lanich and his brother, Bruce R. Lanich. He is survived by his wife, Susan, to whom he would have celebrated 26 years of marriage on June 8. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amber Leigh and Casey Mills; son, Brad Riegel Lanich Jr., grandchildren, Ashleigh, Aleigha and Bayleigh; sisters, Marjorie Lanich Beal and husband Thomas, and Peggy Lanich; numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends as well as his two beloved yorkies, Callie and Mischa. Brad was an account executive at LexisNexis for 28 years and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of VFW Post #8312, American Legion Post #763, the USS Mispillion AO-105 Association and the Wright-State University Alumni Association. He was listed in the Marquis Who’s Who of Communications and the Registry of Dayton. Brad attended Patterson Park Church and was passionate about his country, bald eagles, camping and boating. He is best remembered by all for his sense of humor and zest for life. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. with Rev. David Faile officiating. His family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment in Beaver Cemetery.
