SHEPHERD, Billy Ralph, age 90 of Dayton passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at River Oaks Care Center. Billy was born on June 19, 1927 in Roxana, Kentucky to the late George and Mallie Hogg Shepherd. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Pamela (Ron) Himebaugh; son, Steve (Sherry) Shepherd; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a sister, Peggy (Leo) Duggar; and brothers, Ray (Judy) Shepherd and Jack (Darlene) Shepherd. Billy served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was first retired from Prudential Insurance Company and later from the company he started, Shepherd Financial Services. In the 70’s Billy became very active in the Republican Party. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL.
