Betty spent most of her long life in the Dayton area and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Betty never met a stranger and her family and friends were her passion and delight. She will be forever be known as an excellent Southern cook who never used a measuring cup. She was a funny, outspoken lady that will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know and appreciate her generosity of spirit.
Betty was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank. She is survived by her children, Ron (Mary Beth), LaVonna (Bryon) and Jeff (Julie) and a host of grand and great grandchildren as well as many dear friends. Betty is also survived by her sister and best friend, Cleo Kidd as well as her lifelong friend and partner in crime, Helen Williams. Betty was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind many beautiful memories.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Walnut Creek Assisted Living Center and Nursing Home. Betty loved all of the staff and her friends at the center, especially three special friends, George, Lillian and Dee.
Mom, we love you and will miss you every day.
