Bernardine M Lee

LEE, Bernardine M., “eternally 39”, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Bertha Mihnak, and three brothers and one sister. She is survived by three children: Robin (Mark) Steberl, Maribeth (David) Gloekler and B. Patrick Lee (Dawna). Five grandchildren also survive her: Jacob (Kelli) Gloekler, Philip (Kristen) Gloekler, Ryan Steberl, Megan (Chris) Ventura and Olivia Lee, as well as five great grandchildren: Brady, Claire and Luke Gloekler and Lillian and Joseph Ventura. She is also survived by a special niece and many dear friends. Bernardine worked as an Administrative Assistant at WPAFB on the F-111 and F-15 projects. Following her retirement she worked at Old River Park, The University of Dayton, The Dayton Dragons and volunteered at Hospice of Dayton. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and served on the Rosary Alter Society. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Parish on Thursday, March 7, 2024 by Fr. Satish Joseph. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery following the mass. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in her memory.
