KLEIN, Bernard F. “Skip”, Jr. Age 73 of Beavercreek, formerly of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Trinity Community Home in Beavercreek. Preceded in death by his parents Bernard F. Sr. and Mary Margaret (Haas) Klein. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jayne Anne (Hutzelman) of Beavercreek, their daughter Mary Anna of Kettering, 2 sisters, Claudia Mechenbier and Bobbi Jenkins of Beavercreek and numerous nieces and nephews. Skip graduated from Belmont High School in Dayton in 1964 and was employed by Imperial House North as a houseman and then by Queen of Martyrs Parish as a custodian, a job from which he retired. Long-time member of Ascension Parish in Kettering, 4th degree Knight with Ascension’s Knights of Columbus Lady of the Light Council 14891. Skip continued his dad’s love of roses by planting and tending his own rose garden, formerly a member of the Miami Valley Rose Society. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ascension Church on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Ed Pratt celebrant, with interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2020.
