Artie was AWSOME.!!!
We were good friends in high school; weekend fun and wrestling team adventures.  He got me a job working with him one summer at the local concrete block plant, we worked hard and had a blast while sweating all day...  He was a groomsman in my wedding in 1978, that I can remember clearly, like it was this morning.  I was shocked to see his picture show up as a classmate passing.  I felt he was going to be the old guy reading about the rest of us.

Remembering Art from High school days in Bedford and St Mary in Bedford.  My condolences to his whole family.

Dear Susan, Arte, Lauren and family,
Please accept our sincere condolences.     I think we first met you and Art probably a good 25 years ago when Paul and Arte were both taking horseback riding at the TRI barn with Betty Lou Townley.   A few years later Paul participated in Centerville Special Olympics track when you and Art were coaching.  Paul enjoyed running and both you and Art were so great at encouraging each participant to do their best.  Then there were all of the fantastic Spooky Halloween parties at your home!  Art was always  a spooky character and everyone loved the fun especially along the trail behind the house.  Art and you and your extended family and cohorts in crime always made it such a special evening for everyone, especially for Elvis himself, Artie!  I remember how amazed we were at all of the work that we know went into putting that event together each year and by all of the friends who volunteered to make it such a great time for everyone.
It was easy to see the love, affection and generosity of heart that went into everything Art and you together provided not just for your son but for his friends and their families.
We will always remember Art's wonderful kindness, acceptance and support to our family and those of others who share the bond of having a son or daughter with special needs.  We are sad but also grateful that he is now at rest.

Art will always be remembered as one of the kindest men and a good friend. I met him many years ago always a smile . He loved his family very much always talking about his children and his loving wife.  I believe we will all be together in Heaven . Wont be that far away . Art and I go all the way back to first grade at St. Mary’s.  Every memory of him, whether grade school or high school, brings a sweet smile.  Always kind, sweet, and fun to be around.  Always.
I’m sad for your family’s loss, Artie, but glad they were so blessed to have you in their lives.  You will be in my Rosaries and Eucharists my friend…that’s a promise. I’ll always remember Art as being a great listener. When I would talk to him, it was like no one else mattered. 

I went to high school with Artie. He was a fabulous guy. He was friendly and had a wonderful personality. I remember double-dating with him in the summer between our junior and senior high school year.  He was especially thoughtful as I had just was recovering from some facial surgery. Besides those memories, I just want to tell the family and his wife (who I think I met at the 1993 reunion) how deeply saddened I was hearing the news of Artie's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. And I'm sure things were even more difficult this past weekend as many celebrated Father's Day. However, if this helps at all, if you know Christ as  your savior (you've invited Christ into your heart), you will without a doubt see him again in heaven. Art was truly one of the best men that God ever put on this earth.   Now he is having his first Fathers' Day in Heaven, with God our Heavenly Father.  Your passing came way too soon, Art, for those of us who were blessed to call you ' friend' . You were always kind, understanding, fun to be around, and had that smile that lit up the room, and always had that little twinkle in your eye with your sense of humor! You were a true gentle-man.   And you helped and served humanity in so many different charities throughout your life.  We are forever grateful that our paths in this world came together. I was in several high school classes with Art. He was an exceptional student and well liked by everyone. He was always smiling! He was a person you could joke around with. He knew when to have a good time and knew when to be serious. He was a great Bearcat! My prayers to Art and his family.

I want to share my deepest condolences to Arte and his sister and their mother for their loss of Art I knew Arte going to rec programs and by having the same provider I met him for the first time at music class and from then on we have clicked and  I always ask how Arte and  Art were doing. I assure you of my prayers during this difficult time and I ask that you pray for me and my family.

Mr. Komorowski was one of the most genuine, kind, and funny people I’ve had the honor of knowing. He will be deeply missed.

Art was such a caring person and very kind and generous. 
Art was a good track coach.  Art was always so kind at listening and talking with people.  Art was very good with talking and a good listener.  I will miss you a lot.  I will keep good memories of you.
