HOFFMAN, Arnold Eugene, age 87 of Dayton, OH passed away Friday, December 30, 2016. He retired from W.P.A.F.B. with over 20 years of service. Arnold was a member of MorningStar Baptist Church (formerly, Franklin Street Baptist Church). He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Rachel Hoffman; children, Roger (Uland Bluwe) Hoffman, Carlton (Country) Hoffman, and Alma Jean Hoffman. Arnold is survived by grandchildren, Yvette (Bluwe) (William) Young of Fairbanks, AK, Thayer Bluwe of Redding, CA, Chad Hoffman of TX, Sunshine Hoffman of TX and Marnie Hoffman of Utah; numerous great and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45429. Funeral service 11 am Thursday, January 5, 2017 at MorningStar Baptist Church, 208 Nutt Rd. Dayton, OH 45458. Interment 2:30 pm at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
