Anne R. Kopp

Kopp, Anne R (Becky), age 87 of Beavercreek, passed away 10 May 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in St. Henry, Oh (Mercer County), 23 April 1924. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry J. Bernard and Matilda (Romer) Bernard, brothers and sisters, Paul (Tillie) Bernard, Richard (Fern) Bernard, Edward (Bea and Emma Lou) Bernard, Joe (Leona) Bernard, and Sister Matilda (Margaret) Bernard. Anne is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ferd, children Becky (Steve) Schwab, Kathy (Ron) Hinch, Margaret (Darrel) Baker, and John (Alana) Kopp and Grandchildren Ben (Barb) Schwab, Liz Schwab, Bryan (Hadeel) Hinch, Nickie (Trent) Woodzell, Adam Baker (fiancé Anna Stephens) and FJ Kopp and Great-grandchildren Samantha and Drew Schwab, Keira and Theron Woodzell, and Mazen, Jad and Hala Hinch and sisters Mary Faller, & Sister Mary Henry (Helen) Bernard and brother John (Tamra) Bernard and many nieces and nephews. Anne enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also had great pleasure with the “one-armed bandits”! Her other interests were gardening, fishing, playing cards with family and dining out. She worked for Western Union and later retired from Elder-Beerman’s as a supervisor in the Credit Office. We would like to thank Dr. Derksen, Dr. Goyal and his nurse Kim for providing her care. Hospice of Dayton provided excellent care and comfort to Mom and our family. Prayers will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at The Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering, OH. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2011 and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the prayers on Monday.
