We send our deepest condolences and love to the Lauvray and  Wallace families.  Alma was a great lady with a big heart. She was always helping others. We will always cherish all the memories we  have of Alma and Jack at Norris Lake.  They were wonderful neighbors. I am so grateful I was able to talk to Alma before Thanksgiving.  The last words I said to Alma at the end of our conversation was "I love you".  I will miss her so much and I am glad I was able to have her for a friend. I grew up as a neighbor to the Lauvrays. I remember Alma as a loving mother, a friendly and joyful person ready and willing to help people in need. She was morally strong, and a very good role model, that I looked up to.  She was excellent at crafts, she even had her own loom at one time. She loved to be around family. She will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family.  I've always called Alma my second mom.  She is included in some of my earliest memories as a child. The last time I was with Alma we went out for dinner. Alma told a story of me coming there house dressed as a cowboy. Or when I showed up wearing gum on my nose placed there by my sister and I was told not to remove it. We laughed all evening going over memories. Alma had a great laugh. I wish I could have been around her more as an adult.  Her kind gentle way was always so comforting.  I'm grateful for the memories I have with Alma and her family.

So sorry to hear of Alma's passing .  I never knew her very well, however,  my now deceased wife Janice Geis, adored and loved her very much.  Hopefully they and Joyce will now be reunited and enjoy each others company.

My wife and I  never had the pleasure of meeting Alma, however knowing two of her children Mike and Cindy, we feel  as though we have met her. 
   The obituary talks about how Alma lived for involvement with her family. Spending any time with Mike and Cindy you know right away how important their children and grandchildren are in their lives. And to hear the laughter and running and squeals of great fun when they are together. 
   So we know what a lovely nurturing woman she was as evident in her children. What a great legacy she leaves, one to celebrate. Peace.

I'm very sorry to hear of Alma's passing.  She was a kind, considerate, and loving person.  I met her as I was growing up next to her, Robert, and their family.  Played with her children and enjoyed her company as one of the most positive and Christian influences in my life.  She was a wonderful lady.  Her loss is a sad day.  Her children have lost a wonderful example of how a woman can grow a legacy of love and affection.  I can't make it to the funeral, but I will always keep her in my heart.  Thank you Alma for how good you were to that little kid two houses away.  He truly appreciates your positive influence in his life.

Alma was a most giving, welcoming, and hard-working woman, who loved her family and was warm with friends. I am so sorry for your loss.

Alma was truly a beautiful soul. She made everyone of Sarah’s friends feel like we were her grandkids too. I always looked forward to spending time with her and Jack at the lake. I took this picture at one of our many lunches/ice cream dates together at the Springs Dock.  We had some of the best times down at the lake with Alma and Jack and I’m forever grateful for those times. I’m heartbroken for her family that love her so dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with them all.
