Alberta “Bertie” McHenry, age 85 of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Sarah (Steele) McQuality, and two brothers; Paul and Carl McQuality. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kenneth R. McHenry. She is survived by her children: Debra (Wallace) Seibert and husband Robert, Lisa (Wallace) Mellon and husband Robert, Mark McHenry and wife Shirley, Sallie McHenry, Cheryl Chabali and husband Bob, Tim McHenry and wife Maurene, Eric McHenry and wife Carrie, and Alexis McLaughlin and husband Kevin. She is also survived by a sister, Betty Hardman, brother, Gene McQuality, nineteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Alberta was a graduate of Patterson CO-OP High School and worked as a computer programmer at WPAFB. She was an active and lively lady who loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a keen bowler and spent more than 40 years in the Wednesday morning league at Kittyhawk Bowling Lanes. She also loved to travel and especially enjoyed cruises and the Greenbriar Resort in WV. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Rd. Dayton, OH 45431 at 10 AM Friday, January 5, 2018 by Fr. Satish Joseph. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery following the Mass.
