Albert W. Shock, age 94, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. Bert was born January 26, 1928 in Dayton, OH. He was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church, a Letter Carrier of the NALC Union for 28 years, and more recently a devoted volunteer of Hospice of Dayton.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Chuck Reigelsperger of Spring Valley; one son and daughter-in-law Wesley and Julie Shock of Peachtree City; GA; grandchildren, Chad, Corinne, Amber, Robert, Lisa, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Killian, Noelle, Gabriel, Melody, and Ariston.
A visitation for Bert will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45429. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel with Reverend Karen Fox officiating.
As this is a Celebration of Life, please feel free to wear bright colored and casual clothing. Bert was a beacon of light and spread laughter and cheer wherever he went.
