Anthony Judge (A.J.) Millen passed away in his home on July 31, 2023. AJ was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 13,1985. He was 37 years old. AJ is preceded in death by his grandfather George Snyder, two aunts: Tammy and Valerie, and three uncles: George Snyder Jr, Derrick Millen and beloved Todd Snyder.
AJ is survived by his wife Amanda, their three children Gabby, Hudsen, Harper and his best friend Diesel. AJ is also survived by his parents Irene and Shawn, his brothers Ian and Drew, grandparents Irene Snyder and Edward and Holly Millen and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and a few close friends that were more like family.
AJ described himself as a jack of all trades and he truly was. AJ had skills in car mechanics and building repairs. He had the ability to understand the workings of most things and quickly identify the point of failure. AJ was often the first person called when something broke, not only due to his ability to fix it but his willingness to help.
AJ loved having fun and having adventures. Recently he renewed his interest in dirt bikes, quads, motorcycles and traveling. His favorite places to travel were to the beach and to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
More importantly, AJ took pride in being a dad and husband. He loved family life most of all. He was always willing to take a kid or two on any and every task and always showed immeasurable patience in teaching the kids what he was doing. He had no trouble in answering the question of ‘why’ no matter how many times it was asked by any kid, even those that weren’t his.
AJ will continue to live on in or hearts and minds every day. He will not only be remembered as a loving husband, son, and father to both his family and Amanda’s family. He was a no questions asked person and friend with a heart 1000 times bigger than him. No job was ever too big or too far away, if you needed help AJ was your guy. AJ was truly amazing in every sense of the word and just an all-around good guy who is missed by everyone who knew him. No amount of time will heal our hearts or minds, but we will continue to live life as AJ would have with stories, pictures, and willingness to go the extra mile for anyone and everyone.
A visitation for AJ will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, Ohio, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
