Aaron Michael Cox

Cox, Aaron Michael, age 22, of Los Angeles, CA and a lifelong resident of Dayton went home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 13, 2012 following a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Laura M. Greene in 1991 and his uncle, John Kulfan in 2010. Aaron was also preceded in death by his cherished pastor and friend, Pastor Doris J. Swartz. Aaron is survived by his parents, Brent D. and Laura M. (Greene) Cox, of Dayton; his brothers, Jesse Adam Cox and David Nathan Cox; maternal grandfather, James “Papoo” Greene, Jr., of Dayton; paternal grandparents, Betty J. Cox, of Dayton, David M. (Nancy) Cox, of Las Cruces, NM; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was a graduate of Stebbins High School, Class of 2007 and Ohio University in 2011. Aaron was a brilliant musician, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and above all a humble servant of God. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, 1850 North Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, OH. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 and again from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Wednesday.
