William S. “Will” Larrimore, age 79 and a six year resident of Arnold and previously of Gambrills, died August 18, 2023 peacefully in his sleep. Born in Baltimore on November 24, 1943 to the late Herbert F. and Lillian M. Larrimore, he graduated from Dundalk High School in 1961. He was a talented baseball player who was scouted for minor league ball, but he had to turn that offer down after his father died and had to work to support his family. He served his country as a member of the US Army from 1963 until his honorable discharge in 1965. He went on to earn a Masters Degree in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland. He owned and operated several Jackson Hewitt Tax Service offices at various locations before he semi-retired in 2020. Will was a member of the National Association of Accountants and loved traveling. He loved the frequent family gatherings at Widewater, VA, crabbing with his cousin Clay and working in his yard, but above all he was a very loving and devoted father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Will was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Barbara L. Larrimore and his brother, Herbert Larrimore, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Eubanks and her husband William of West River, MD; his granddaughter, Jessica K. Byrd and her husband Robert; his great grandchildren, Harper and Grayson Byrd; his brother, David Larrimore and his wife Madge of Bath, NY; his sister-in-law and her husband, Carol and Woodrow Herring of Virginia; his loving partner, Nancy Ronsheim; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to Will’s life celebration on Saturday, September 16 from 10-11, followed by a memorial service at 11, at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Interment will be private.
