Janice attended Joliet Central High School in Illinois. When Janice was 18 years old, she worked as an Assistant Manager at Base Exchange in Okinawa, Japan. She showed great leadership skills at a very young age. Always wanting others to feel beautiful, Janice's gift of style made her into a highly sought after Cosmetologist in Arkansas.
During her first marriage to Calvin Myers, Janice’s proudest accomplishments were the birth of her son Jeremy and her daughter Tiana during this time.
Janice was remarried to Kenneth Bonner and the two blended their families. Together Janice and Kenneth's family grew to 7 adult children, 9 grandchildren and unborn grandchild Imani Rich due September 2023.
Janice had a kind heart and took pride in assisting families at Primerica. She worked with many families as a crusader to help people gain financial security and build generational wealth. Janice won numerous awards as a district leader for Primerica.
Over the last 17 years, Janice had worked her way up the ranks with UPS in a management role.
Janice is survived by her son Jeremy Myers (Jocelyn Bailey); her daughter Tiana Myers Rich (Rashad Rich); her son Clifford Bonner; her son Derrick Bonner; her daughter Taminka Bonner; her daughter Zamora Bonner; and her daughter SaHanna Bonner; her mother Martha Jane Johnson of Joliet, Illinois and her father Isiah Johnson Jr. of Davenport, Iowa; her brother Ronald Johnson, her sister Alicia Spights, her sister Martha R. Johnson, her brother Corey Johnson and her brother Maurice Johnson.
Grandchildren Cali Myers, Harper Myers, unborn grandchild Imani Rich, Javon Bonner, Destiny Bonner, Savannah Bonner, Chloe Bonner, Ayanah Best, Carson Best and Milton Best Jr.
A funeral service for Janice will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square, 5300 Crain Hwy, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. Following the funeral service will be an interment at 12:30 PM at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD.
Janice will be laid to rest in Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W. Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD.
