Robert Wells Bandy

Passed away on September 1, 2024 in Spokane, WA his home Wilbur, WA. Bob was born on July 24, 1947 in Spokane, WA to Robert and Leora Bandy. Robert grew up in Northern Idaho and attend school in Sandpoint graduating in 1965, he then went on to attend the University of Idaho. Bob Married Jeanette Choules on August 24, 1968 in Preston, Idaho then they made their home in Wilbur, WA where they farmed and raised their four children. Bob was a very big supporter of the Wilbur community and the school. He coached various youth sports, was a member of the Wilbur Community Church, Wilbur Lions Club, and former board member of the Wilbur Amateur Athletics, Wheatland Band, Lincoln Mutual and Wilbur Grain Growers. Bob loved to follow his kids in their activities and sporting events and seldom ever missed a game. Bob also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

Bob is survived by his wife Jeanette at the home, three children Bob C.(Julie) Bandy, Angie (Patrick) Donahue and Mindy (Neil) Muller along with six grandchildren Hannah Smith, Blaine Bandy, Connor and Marissa Donahue, and Dyllan and Greyson Muller and great grandson Krew Smith along with numerous nieces and nephews. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Billie Jo Bandy, one sister Louise Lanting.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wilbur Cemetery, Wilbur, WA followed by a Celebration of Life Memorials Service at 12:00 PM at the Wilbur Community Church, Wilbur, WA with Pastor Steve Niccolls, officiating. Family suggest memorials be made to the Wilbur Swimming Pool, Wilbur Amateur Athletics, or Wilbur Museum or charity of choice.
