Born July 7, 1937 in Fruitland, WA to William and Mabel (Cooper) Kirby. He has been a life time resident of the Fruitland/Hunters area. Delbert was a logger most of his life and also drove log truck for many years along with doing other miscellaneous jobs over the years. Delbert passed away on January 24, 2013 in Spokane, WA. He is survived by three children Karla Parr, Dan (and Renee) Kirby and Jay D. Kirby. He has five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He has a brother Adrian Erickson and two sisters Darlene Garett and Ora Wolfe along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Billy Jack Kirby and one brother Jimmy Peone.
