Bernadine Catherine Miller

Cathy passed away July 6, 2024 in Davenport, WA. She was born on Aug 14, 1938 in Wenatchee, WA to Christian and Marie Jensen. Cathy graduated from college and received her teaching degree and began teaching in Mansfield in 1958 and Wilbur High School in 1961. She met a young man Richard (Dick) Miller and they were married on December 28, 1962 in Mansfield, WA. They made their home in Wilbur and raised their two daughter Patty and Karen. Cathy was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society. Cathy is survived by her husband of 61 years Richard (Dick) Miller at the home, two daughters Patty Burton and Karen (and Bryan) Hicks along with three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She has two sisters Martha Dupas and Christine Briskey and two brothers Jim Jensen and John Jensen and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Christian and Marie Jensen. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Friday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m.at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wilbur, WA. Memorials may be made to the Wilbur Community Swimming Pool Foundation or the Hesseltine Library.
