Willie Cole Jr.

Willie Cole Jr., 65, of Davenport, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 in Davenport. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, September 4, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Willie was born June 8, 1950 in Muscatine, a son of Willie (Sr.) and Gladys (Bolsinger) Cole. He was united in marriage to Sharon Walker on August 10, 1968 in Greeley, Iowa. He was the former manager at several Davenport Amoco service stations. His hobbies included cooking and squirrel hunting and he was an avid NASCAR fan.

Surviving are his wife Sharon; his children: James (Jennifer) Cole of Erie, IL, Cheryl (Terry) Cole of Davenport, Douglas (Diana) Cole of Davenport, Lee (Jody) Cole of Erie, IL and William (Millissa) Cole of Park View, IA; seventeen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; four brothers: Dennis, Mike, Doug and Lavern and four sisters: Charlotte, Pat, Sue and Joyce. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Jerry and two sisters: Verla and Mary.
