Wayne Marxen

Wayne R. Marxen, 66, of Blue Grass, Iowa died Friday, December 17, 2010 in Ramsey, Minnesota. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 3-7PM Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the mortuary.

Wayne was born May 28, 1944 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Bernard and Eleanor. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was united in marriage to Virginia Petersen. She preceded him in death in 1988.

He was employed as a truck driver for Amhof Trucking and was a member of the Walcott American Legion.

Those left to honor his memory are his significant other, Joyce Steele, Blue Grass; three sons and daughters-in-law: Matthew, Davenport, Joseph (Michelle),Arrowsmith, Illinois, and Christopher (Carrie), Blue Grass; grandchildren; Kyle, Kelsey, Bethany, and Alex; Mother Eleanor; siblings and spouses; Dennis (Eileen), Gary, Judy Sloane, Jeanette (Gene) Furness, Jeraldine (Steve) Smith, and Joyce (Randy) Yaddof.
