Wayne "W.J." Jugenheimer

A viewing will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Runge Mortuary from 12pm-1pm followed by a visitation from 1pm-2pm. He will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Wayne’s name to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital. Wayne was born on February 18, 1933, in Davenport, Iowa, to Fredrick and Dorothy (Koch) Jugenheimer. He was the proud owner of Jugenheimer Motors Incorporated in Davenport, Iowa, for many years. He had a love of cars, motorcycles, airplanes and people. He was a pilot and enjoyed flying. On May 31,1980, he was united in marriage to Sandy Damp. They have enjoyed 46 years of marriage. After retiring Wayne and Sandy moved to Arizona.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife; children, Amelia Linder, Bill (Joyce) Jugenheimer, and Marty (Janelle) Damp; grandchildren, Zachary Damp, Alexis Koontz, Dary Linder, and Taylor Damp; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, John (Mary) Jugenheimer, and Janet Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; children, Sharon Jugenheimer and Jane Jugenheimer; and sister, Delma Steffen.
