Vickie Lynn Potter

Vickie L. Potter, 66, of Walcott, went to her Heavenly home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, June 14, 2015. Honoring her wishes, there will be no visitation and a private service will be held. Private interment will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church in Walcott of which she was a member or the Walcott Volunteer Fire Department. Vickie married John R. Potter in July 1967 in Walcott. She had formerly been employed by Scott Community College and Von Maur. Her greatest joy was taking her children and grandchildren to Disney World.

Survivors include her husband, John; children: Deborah (Michael) Greve and Kimberly (Gregory) Shuger; grandchildren: Robert Greve, Lilly Shuger and Lydia Shuger; her mother, Lillian Holdorf and her sister, Cathie (James) Leuenhagen.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Holdorf and twin sisters, Barbara and Gloria.
