Tammy Annamarie Golden

Tammy Annamarie Golden, 56 of Viola, IL passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 in her place of residence. In accordance to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. We will be holding a public visitation on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 12-2 pm at Weerts Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 2:00 pm. The family would like anyone and everyone to wear Harley Davidson. If Harley Davidson is not an option, casual attire may be worn.

Tammy was born on March 27, 1967 in Des Moines, IA the daughter of Donald and Patricia Burgett. Following her graduation from Interstate 35 High School in Truro, IA she attended Denison Job Corps in Denison, IA. She became a CNA. In the past, she worked for Aledo Rehab, Mobotrex and Golden Dreams. On April 25, 2019, she married Bruce Golden. She loved being able to ride on the back of a Harley Davidson. She enjoyed every minute of going to Bike Nights at Ducky’s Lagoon. She really enjoyed going on trips to Florida and swimming with the dolphins as well as going to Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells. She also had a love for cats, especially her cat Pebbles. She loved visiting her children and grandchildren. Her pride and joy was her grandchildren.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Ashley Eitel (David) of Davenport, IA son, Raymond Parker of Bettendorf, IA; husband, Bruce Golden of Viola, IL; sister, Donna Hanysh (Ray) of New Virginia, IA; brother, Donald Burgett (Kimberly) of Moberly, MO; eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Austin Eitel of Davenport, IA; Desiree and Daniel Eitel of Davenport, IA, Jacob and Joshua Eitel of Quincy, IL, Selena and Kimberly Vasquez-Eitel of Davenport, IA; one great grandchild, Christopher Clayburn-Eitel and one special friend, Falon Strange of Davenport, IA. She also had many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Patricia Burgett; her aunt, Ila Calvert and Donna Strange. May they rest in peace. The family would like to give special thanks to Pastor Troy Lockhart for all the support he is giving us.
