Stevan James Digman, 64, of Davenport, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. He will be laid to rest in National Cemetery, Rock Island. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Stevan was born the second of five children to Ralph and Jeanne (Baker) Digman on July 9, 1954 in Davenport, IA. He graduated from West High School in 1973 before serving proudly as an Airman in the U. S. Air Force. He was united in marriage to Lisa Kessinger, later he married Deborah Ridgeway on June 8, 2013 in Davenport, Iowa. He was currently employed at the Rock Island Arsenal, where he has worked for over 35 years. Stevan enjoyed wood-working, gardening, photography and model planes. He was an amazing person and would do anything for anyone, but he could have an ornery streak. Those honoring his memory are his loving wife, Deborah; son, Adam Digman, Davenport, IA; step-daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Akins, Peru, IL; siblings: Jim (Lisa) Digman, Davenport, IA, Sheryl Digman, Davenport, IA, Jerry Digman, St. Louis, MO and Larry (Ida) Digman, Austin, TX; nephews, Evan (Dani) Coberly, Bettendorf, IA and Nick (Nhu) Eddy, Fremont, CA; and great nephews, Hudson and Grayson. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
