Shayla was born on July 11, 1993, in Iowa City, IA, to Melissa Kuhse of Davenport, IA, and Robert Mingilton, Jr. of Dallas, TX. She was employed at Long john Silvers.
Shayla enjoyed old western tv shows, old country music, horror movies, and DIY crafts.
Those left to carry on her memory include her parents; 2 children of Milan, IL; grandmother, Laura Kuhse of Clinton, IA; uncle, Wade Kuhse of Clinton, IA; aunt, Kalli Kuhse of California; brother, Devin Martin of Des Moines, IA; and sister, Brittney Smith of Tulsa, OK; along with nieces, nephews, and several cousins.
Shayla precedes in passing her grandfather, Richard Kuhse; and grandparents, Eugene and Berniece Kuhse.
