Shawn Oaks

Shawn was born in Bettendorf on January 3, 1970. He was the son of Larry and Patricia Oaks. His hobbies include being outside, music and singing Rock and Roll music; especially the 80’s hair band songs, taking his children sledding, helping his cousin Trevor on his farm going to church with cousins Tera and Debbie and their families and getting into mischief. His greatest passion however was fishing.

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Heather (Chris) Vansant, and Shawn R. Oaks, Davenport; grandchildren: Nevaeh, Bryson, Jameson and Jeremiah, father, Larry, all of Davenport; brothers, Doug and Chad Oaks, sisters, January Siem and Vickijo Davis, niece and nephews including: Nichole, Justyn, Austin, Jett and Chance. His mother and grandparents, Darlene and Fritz Schlitter preceded him in death.
