Shane was a former student of mine at Nelson School in 1st & 2nd  grade. He always had the greatest smile & was always a great friend to all. To say I am shocked is a understatement, I am heartbroken for you all. Shane and I grew up in Nelson together, which created a forever bond. From riding big wheels, to many bike rides, hanging at the school, playing army, and many talks sitting on his parents roof. He was my best friend!! Shane was a soft spoken guy, kind, and the best listener. He would do anything for his friends. We shared many laughs throughout the years that I will hang on to forever. Sending prayers to his parents, Lisa, Addison, Dave, extended family, and his friends. Rest In Peace Shane.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Shane was one of my best friends as a kid growing up when I spent time in Nelson with my grandparents. I have so many great memories of us and the other kids in Nelson riding our bikes, hiking in cornfields or hanging out on Stitzel’s front porch. Your son, brother, husband and father was one of just a handful of people that brought some happiness into my rough childhood and I’ll always be grateful to him for that. Thank you for sharing this incredible person with me. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Some great memories with Shane... from broken bones to chicken recipes we never received compensation for. We shared some great laughs and great conversation over the years. Only wish we could have been closer as adults. Our condolences to Lisa and family - our hearts are full for you. Please take care of yourself!

Lost for words on this very day.  Shane was a buddy, a bud.   He came into my world as a younger kid but excepted as one of us.  He was always in touching distance and was always kind.    I will remember his style, his walk, his unique qualities that made him so likeable.     Shane brother, I wish I would have been a better brother to you and been more in your adult life, as I have been off doing my life.     May you rest and find the peace in which you were certainly searching for.    I love you brother.  Hope my soul finds yours someday and reinvent our time once spent on this earth.    Gods speed bud.    Nothing but tears. !!!! 

My heart hurts for you all!!😥 I have known Shane since I was in grade school.. he was the FIRST kid that was nice to me, since I had been 'the new kid' in Nelson.. the 'Nelson boys' always came down to my house and watched my dad build his stock cars .. so many memories with them all.. jumping off the train bridge🤣, getting ice cream with Joe💕, basically showing me how country kids roll..I graduated Nelson 8th grade with him, with NINE in our class, and also graduated HS with Shane and Lisa🤗 .. I will forever be grateful for his friendship!!🙏Prayers and Love to ALL the family during this!! God Speed Bro!!🙏

I am so heartbroken to hear of my cousin Shane's passing. Although I never got to see him as often as I would have liked, he was a loving man with a great heart. He loved Lisa and Addison with all he had, and the world will absolutely feel his absence deeply. 

I am so sorry for your loss! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Shane had the kindest soul and the most gentle presence. I pray that the wonderful memories you shared help comfort you during this difficult time. Sending love and strength to all! 

I am deeply saddened at Shane’s passing. We worked together many times over the years at Ryan and Associates and I always enjoyed those times. He was always a pleasure to work with.

I am still in shock and in disbelief, Shane was such a loving father and husband. There are so many memories such as; sitting  at all day softball tournaments, volleyball tournaments, going over their house for drinks after those  said tournaments,  going out to eat, or just hanging out and talking. Him and  Rod  loved talking about their whisky collections. He will always be remembered!!!

I had the pleasure of taking a road trip to Tulsa with Shane last summer for work. It wasn’t the greatest situation but we made the best of it because that’s how he was. We had many hours to talk and it was clear he loved his family. He was always pleasant to me and I always appreciated that. I am deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. 

So sorry to hear about Shane.  We both have worked with Shane at Ryan & Associates for a number of years.  He will be missed thats for sure.   Our deepest sympathy for his family.

Absolutely crushed to hear about your loss! Shane was 1 of the first journeyman  that I had to work with at Ryan & Associates about 17 years  ago. After that first day we were working numerous jobs together, usually in a mechanical room somewhere! I am very grateful for his wealth of knowledge that he shared with me, & great times we had on the jobsite! He had a way of making work fun, & at that time in my life I wasn't sure how to do that! We shared some conversations about family and how much love we had for family. I'm pretty sure that's why we had a great work chemistry,from there on  I was fortunate enough to claim him as my brother! Once again sorry to here about your loss!
