Sarah Jane Davis

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, at the Runge Mortuary. She will be laid to rest in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Sarah was born on March 9, 1932 in Rock Island, IL, to Thomas and Mary Johnston. On August 4, 1947 she was united in marriage to Eugene Davis in Rock Island, IL. She worked as a cook at Ridgecrest Retirement Village for 15 years until retiring in 1998.

Sarah enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Marcia Fahrenkrug, Sharon Davis, and Brian (Jennifer) Davis; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her parents; husband, Eugene; children, Darrell Davis and William Davis; and son-in-law, Ronald Fahrenkrug.
