Roger "Booger" Johnson

Funeral services will be 10AM Saturday, May 4, 2024 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Davenport Memorial Park. Roger was born April 3, 1969 in Davenport, IA to Roger W. & Karen (Siberling) Johnson. He was united in marriage to Angela Custer on October 13, 2006 in Rock Island, IL.

Roger grew up in motor cycle racing with his father and other racing friends. He became a professional dirt track motor cycle racer, racing all over the United States wearing #96. In true racing form, he was always looking for a hole shot and trying to find the groove. Over the years Roger had worked at Brenny’s Motor Cycle Clinic, American Dog, and Hiland Toyota. Along with racing, Roger loved his animals, the Chicago Bears & Cubs, and was obsessed with University of Iowa wrestling.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Johnson, Rock Island, IL; father, Roger W. (Janine) Johnson, Princeton, IA; stepfather, Denny Baker, Sabastian, FL; brother, Nathen (Becky) Johnson, HI; sister, Jen (Robbie) Seibel, Princeton, IA; nieces, Sammie Jo (Billie) Johnson, Holly (Nick) Winter, Camryn, and Haylee; nephew, Hunter; great grandniece, Zoey; great grandnephew, Connor and Hudson; uncle, Craig and family in AZ; aunt, Cheryl and uncle, Rod in WI; aunt, Susie Zornig in FL; uncle, Dick Tappa; cousins, Tommy Tappa and Tobby Tappa; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
