Robert “Bob” E. Wulf, 86, of Bettendorf, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 10am at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 4-7pm at Weerts Funeral Home. Private Inurnment will take place at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Alzheimer’s Association or Trinity Lutheran Church, Davenport. Bob was born on July 16, 1936 in Davenport to Walter E. and Veronica B (Friedholdt) Wulf. He graduated from Davenport High School. He earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Northwestern University. Bob was united in marriage to Joann Correll on November 29, 1958. Bob retired after a long career at KartridgePak as a Vice President of Manufacturing in 1995. He enjoyed his second career at Weerts Funeral Home. Bob was an active member at Trinity Lutheran Church. He served as President of the Davenport Jaycees, President of the Friendly House Board, and a member of the board for the Davenport Chamber of Commerce. Other organizations included the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and Ducks Unlimited. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and gardening.
Survivors include his loving wife Joann; son Michael (Deborah) Wulf and daughter Cheryl (William) Mannhardt; granddaughters Megan Wulf and Emily Mannhardt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob’s family would like to extend a warm thank you to the hospice nurses and aides at Genesis who helped care for Bob in his final days.
